Here we will answer all frequently asked questions.

I thought your organization was AYSO? How do I sign up for the fall AYSO season?

We run many of AYSO’s programs, for example their spring academies, their coach certification classes, their camps etc. And for many of these programs we take the sign ups thru our website. However, to register for the regular AYSO league during the fall, please visit the regions website, and contact your division coordinator for more information (typically listed on the region’s website)

How does First Touch Soccer differ from AYSO?

We are an extension of their programs. AYSO is run by volunteers; our organization provides soccer services to AYSO, with professional instruction, coaching and more.

When can my child participate in a First Touch Soccer program?

We offer year-round soccer for players of all ages and abilities. Regardless of the time of year, we have a program for your child; Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

How can I register for a program?

You can register for any of our programs HERE.

I’m on the waitlist for a program. What happens now?

You will be notified via email if positions in your selected program become available. The email will also include directions to register.

I registered for a program but have forgotten my child’s schedule. What do I do?

The schedule for the program you registered for is in the confirmation email you received from us. If you can’t locate that, alternatively, you can view schedules for our programs HERE.

I’ve registered for a program but would like a refund. What do I do?

If you are eligible for a refund – once approved by First Touch Soccer staff – you will see the amount in question reflected in your bank in 7-10 business days. Please read our Terms & Conditions for refunds below and contact info@firsttouchcoaching.com with any refund requests.

No refund for cancellation within 14 days of the program start date. Children who leave during the program due to injury or illness will receive a prorated refund, assuming doctors verification is provided. An Admin fee will be required on any refunds. Any player who is registered less than 10 days prior to program will be subject to an additional admin fee. A credit voucher is available in place of a refund. If there are less than 12 registered players, First Touch Soccer reserve the right to cancel the program due to age appropriate and educational implications. Should this situation arise a minimum of 72 hours notification will be provided and a full refund issued.

What do we do in the event of rain/bad weather?

Do you do private/one-on-one lessons?

Yes we do. We can put you in contact with one of our licensed coaches, and allow you to schedule a session at yours and the coach’s convenience.

Our team wants a “trainer”. How do we get this set up and what’s the cost?

It all depends on how many sessions you want (10 sessions across 10 weeks is typical). We charge $65 per hour, so if you want to do 10 sessions during a spring or fall season and you have a roster of 10, it would be $65 per player. $6.50 per player/per session!

If you know of another team in your club with similar goals to you, and is of a similar age, you can combine the teams to bring the cost down even more.
